"BEING AMERICAN – A Primer for All Parties & Persuasions"
How Is America Supposed To Work?
This is not a book about history, or politics, or even patriotism, although all of those things are part of the journey. It is more importantly a book that explores the idea of America. From its very inception and foundation America represented a new possibility in the world. Truly understanding the idea of America transcends race, gender, religion, sexual preference, and even the human flaws of the men who first manifested it with their own imperfections.

• How did Enlightenment Phiolosophy during the "Age of Reason" lead to the birth of the United States?

• Why did the United States create the first Constitutional governement?
• What is the distinction between "Constitional Rights," "Civil Rights," "Human Rights," and "Inalienable Rights?"
• What are "Constitutional Amendments" and how do they work?
• Who were the "Founding Fathers" and what did they really believe?
• What are the roots of Capitalism and how is it really supposed to work?
• How does Slavery ultimately become the Foundational Flaw in the American Dream?
• What lessons do we need to learn from our Past?
An idea, like America, is never fully achieved or concluded – it continues to grow and become more than the seed itself. The mistakes of the past only reinforce the importance of understanding the depth of that original ideal, that all people are created equal and have certain inherent rights not granted to them by a government including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Is the genuine idea of America that was set into motion by those “old white guys” over 200 years ago really dead, or has the legacy of liberty simply become ours as a more diversified "Union" to make more perfect?
